However a family gets there, we build a path to a safe, affordable home in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties — seven programs, one goal.

Path to Ownership

Three routes into a home of your own, depending on where you're starting from.

Home Ownership

Qualifying households buy a newly built home through an affordable mortgage, with payments sized to what they actually earn.

Farm Worker Assistance

We work with farm worker families in Santa Cruz County to purchase an affordable home and become first-time homeowners.

Mortgage Assistance

First-time homebuyers in Santa Cruz County can qualify for up to $100,000 toward a down payment.

Keeping People Housed

Support for families who already have a home, so it stays safe, accessible, and theirs.

Senior Housing & ADU Support

Fourteen years of building accessory dwelling units has expanded affordable senior housing, pairing ownership with community-managed resources.

Housing Rehabilitation

With the City of Capitola, owner-occupied homes with health, safety, or code issues can receive grants or loans for repairs, based on income.

Community Resilience

Two programs built around people showing up for their neighbors.

Veterans Build

Veterans, their families, our crew, and the community build side by side — fulfilling volunteer work that eases the transition to civilian life.

Natural Disaster Relief

CZU fire survivors rebuild their homes, and their futures, with our hope, hard work, and community support.
