Breaking Ground with New Hope

Writer's picture: Everardo JaimeEverardo Jaime

Amidst the tragedies and challenges of the past few months, we are grateful for the ability to keep moving forward, with masks on faces and shovels in the ground. The help and support of our business, community, and government partners was demonstrated yesterday morning at the groundbreaking for our newest development, Rodeo Creek Court.

Habitat staff, board chair, and construction volunteers stood together with Julie Mahowald from HTSV, Susan True from CFSCC, Rep. Jimmy Panetta, Bud Colligan from MBEP, and Reed Geisreiter from SC County to celebrate a moment of hope for our community and the hardworking families who will soon have a permanent, affordable, and stable place to call home.

Thank you to all who were there in person, virtually, and in spirit, we could not do the work we do without your support!

We will be releasing the full ceremony video later this week.
