1. Applications will only be accepted during an open application period. When Habitat has a future home site for sale, the application period will open and announced to the community via our website, www.habitatmontereybay.org, social media, local newspapers and posting at local organizations. 2. Applications will be processed as they are received. Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed.
3. Approved applicants will be placed on a “Qualified Applicant” list. Applicants will be notified within 30 days of acceptance or denial. Any applications received outside an open application period will be placed on an interested persons list. When more homes become available, the applicants on the interested persons list will be notified that the application period is open and they may reapply
4. Qualified applicants will make an appointment with Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay for a mandatory Homeowner Orientation, after which a home visit will be scheduled.

We require at least a three-day notice to set up translation services and provide reasonable accommodations.
